Progress samples have rolled in for the Tricase- and oh, Lordy. It is looking fine.
Handcrafted from reclaimed barnwood by J.R. Millstone ( oldharvestworkshop(at)gmail.com ) , he's cleared me to share some progress photos.
Originally I planned to have some kind of paper texture or logo added- but seeing this polished, lustrous wood, I don't think there's anything I can tack on to make it better. The buffed woodgrain is just too lustrous.
Mr. Millstone also made some alterations on the design to make the case more practical and easy to use- like angled card storage with finger slots for easy extraction.
Get an eyeful! If all goes according to plan there will be eight of these beauties, one going out to each of the top-tier backers.

Unlocked deck art for all 8 core characters is ready to rock.
I'm halfway through cameos, and getting set to draw Scinter and Tinsel's deck art.
(I'll post cameo art in an update here for feedback before we call it done.)
Time to start sharing some goodies- check out Tinsel and Scinter's uncropped Leader-Hero card art:
This is the first time Scinter has been seen using his power- he tends to play things pretty close to the chest.
The devs have crafted the decks to specialize in traps and subterfuge for Scinter, and manipulation and control tactics for Tinsel.

Card Decks: Drawn!

Yesterday we hit a major production milestone.
The original art for the base-8 card decks is drawn!
The character art for Scinter, Tinsel, and Grunn are also drawn, as well as 8/9 of the Cameo characters- but the sample below was already a pretty big image, so I might save the other lineart for another update.
Once the expansion decks are playtested and more solid, we can KO the original lineart for those, too.
The color flats for most of these illustrations are already done, so I'll kick off some streaming of the shading tomorrow or maybe even tonight.
