I talked with the printer, and gilt edges are a later stage of production for the cards. So with that guaranteed to be added, everything else looks spectacular- and the production run is officially a go!
The last manufacturing estimate I heard was 1.5 months, so that's roughly what I'm expecting starting now.
They also sent a photo of the vacuum form inlay for the boxes:

The foil stamping is stunning, the texture and cardstock weight and colors are magnificent- but there's no gilt edges! Talking to the printer about that little oversight now, hopefully it doesn't slow things down.
