Latest Updates from Our Project:

Update- Wallscroll unboxing video
over 6 years ago – Mon, Sep 04, 2017 at 10:46:34 PM

No fancy lighting or audio- just a quick 'n rough video so you guys can see how the wallscrolls came out.

The material is silky smooth, flexible, and with great vibrant colors!   This is our first time making wallscrolls, and I love 'em.   These designs with the gold logo are backer exclusives, but we'll probably make other, publicly available wallscroll designs in the futre.

For those who ordered one, your scroll of choice will be in the mail with your game when manufacturing is complete.   The pencil art for Scuttles, Tendril, Vi, and Bast's deck are done.  Just have to hit Igrath, Lilith, Ravat, and Wisp- then Tinsel and Scinter.   We're on the way!

Sniper Rifle and Cameo card blues
over 6 years ago – Sun, Sep 03, 2017 at 01:05:06 PM

We're rolling on art for the Cameo cards- here are the blueline sketches.

Cameo owners!   If this is your character, and you want changes, send a message in the comments here or in the Kickstarter private message system, and I can adjust the art.

There are a few cameo folks I'm still waiting on descriptions for- fear not, you haven't been forgotten.   Drop me a line and I'll get your card in the works.   8 )

For the "Elite Troika Sniper" art, I thought we needed a more specialized weapon to showcase.   So it's time to unveil another one of Scinter's toys- the Chimera Mk. 5.    This springer is second in range only to the Gatling Recoil Cannon, but has better accuracy and is vastly easier to transport in the field.   It's a blocky weapon, though- the elegance is spoiled by a huge chamber that dominates the right side of the rifle.   It's a spring that rapidly fires to compress gas, which is shunted around to launch a rifled solid round out through the barrel.   No cartridges or springs means minimal jamming, and a new round is placed using a bolt-action.    The spring chamber will lose power with every shot, unless the tension is restored- there's a crank on the side that helps with recompression.    The Chimera is loved for its accuracy, but hated for its awkward close-quarters drawbacks- the spring chamber harms peripheral visibility, and the rate of fire makes midrange to melee combat less than optimal.

Metal Dice coming- and Kakapopo has their own Kickstarter!
over 6 years ago – Wed, Aug 30, 2017 at 07:15:51 PM

I looked far and wide to find the best possible D20s for the metal dice in the higher SKIRMISH tiers.   Finally today, I'm placing the order with Kakapopo TCG!  Same beautiful pieces that I showed in the video, these things are gorgeous.

I asked Kakapopo if I could promote their wares and perhaps get a bit of a discount on our order- and they said yes!  That'll be good for our game developers, good for Kakapopo, and good for you- because their stuff, more than just metal dice, is absolutely awesome.

KakapopoTCG is a maker of Tabletop gaming accessory products that range from Metal Dice to Deck Boxes, chests and Gaming Briefcases.

KakapopoTCG is also running a Kickstarter Campaign for their latest product - The Elven Chest: which is a deck box, a dice box, or a fantasy coin chest. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/373390096/the-elven-chest-a-deck-box-dice-box-or-fantasy-coi

This Kickstarter is in the final days, so I'd encourage you to scope it out sooner rather than later.   And to browse their entire line of cool stuff, hit up their website:

www.kakapopotcg.com

I never would have found them if it wasn't for this SKIRMISH project, and I'm glad I did.  If you have the same weaknesses as me, you'll want to check out what they have to offer.   And be sure to thank them for being willing to give us a good wholesale rate.  8 )
